Accessibility

The Barcelona Zoo, despite its founding over 100 years ago, is a space free of architectural barriers. You can access all facilities via ramps, except the Aquarama, where there is a platform lift exclusively for wheelchairs (maximum 70 cm x 75 cm, 200 kg weight and no more than 5 chairs at a time).

All of the Zoo’s exhibits and facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility. And the Aquarama can be accessed via a platform lift exclusively for people in wheelchairs.

Information point

Visitors and Zoo Club members can go to the Information Point if you have any questions, need anything, want to maximise their visit and for any formalities related to the Club card. You will find it in the middle of the Zoo, across from the ticket offices on Carrer Wellington.

You can find it next to the shop located by the entrance on Carrer Wellington, in the middle of the Zoo.
