Suggestions about activities to do after the How Man Makes Use of Animals Workshop at the Zoo:

Natural and social sciences area: 

  • Learn how man makes use of animals 

Oral and written expression:

  • Create stories about the animals studied. 
  • Tell stories about the animals studied.   

Art:

  • Paint the farmyard animal or animals. 
  • Make a mural with the things that man obtains from certain animals. 

Body expression:

  • Play games imitating the sounds and/or movements in which the children have to show what they learned. 

Evaluation of learning obtained:

  • Provide basic notions about farmyard animals and understand the reason behind farmyard animals.
  • Distinguish between farmyard animals and pets.
