The Animal Feeding Workshop at the Zoo has been specially designed for students in the 2nd and 3rd cycle of primary school.

OBJECTIVES

With respect to knowledge, facts and ideas:

Study the main types of food that the vertebrates eat.

With respect to procedures:

To learn to carefully observe the animals and to distinguish the different adaptations they make to help them get food.

With respect to attitudes and values:

To foster respect for animals through being better informed. To awaken students’ awareness about protecting nature.
