The Birds Workshop

Suggestions for activities to do after The Birds Workshop: 

Social and natural sciences space:

• Make the cards to do at school that are included in The Birds workbook.
• Fer que els alumnes preparin "conferències" de manera individual o en grup per presentar-les als companys. 
• Make a map of the nidification area of the heron.
• Make the students prepare ‘lectures’, individually or in groups, to present to their classmates.
• Write and/or represent stories about the birds collected or invented by the students, which contain information learned in the activity. 
• Make a book or album about birds that contains everything learned.
  
• Construct an incubator to incubate eggs that have been fecundated and monitor them. 
• Make and hang bird feeders and nest-boxes to attract birds to the schoolyard.

Evaluation of learning obtained:

• When looking at photographs of birds, students must determine the element in which it moves and what it eats.
  
• Establish relationships between human tools and the shapes/functions of beaks. Example: parrot beak and nutcrackers.
