Suggestions about activities to do after the Farmyard Animals Workshop: 

Natural and social sciences area:

  • Prepare activity sheets for the animals studied.
  • Make a mural of a farm, a house and a forest. Collect pictures of animals and group them by categories of farm animals, wild or domestic and place them on the right mural.

Oral and written expression:

  • Create stories about the animals studied.
  • Tell stories about some of the animals visited. 

Art

  • Have them paint the animal they liked the best out of all they saw.
  • Make animal masks and/or dress up as a farmyard animal.

Body expression:

  • Play games imitating the characteristics sounds and movements of the farmyard animals.

Evaluation of learning obtained:

  • Prepare farmyard animal activity sheets detailing how mankind uses them.
