Organisms and their relationship to the environment.

OBJECTIVES
With respect to knowledge, facts and ideas:

  • Know the parts of the body of four animals studied.
  • Carefully observe the shapes and functions of the different body parts.
  • Distinguish the external layers: fur, scales or feathers.
  • Recognise which foods are best for each animal.
  • Distinguish the different types of movements.
  • Introduction to the concept of wild animal.

With respect to procedures:

  • Learn to carefully observe the animals studied.
  • Identify the proper foods for each animal.
  • Deduce the type of movement of the different animals.

With respect to attitudes and values:

  • Foster respect for animals through better knowledge of them.
