Wild Animals Workshop

Suggestions about activities to do after the Wild Animals Workshop at the Zoo:

Natural and social sciences area:

• Prepare four index cards for the animals studied.
• Make murals with the pictures collected of animals, grouping them according to the place they live: in the water, on land or in the air.
• Draw the things that the children have learned about the elephant, the wolf, the macaw and the fish. 

Oral and written expression:

• Create stories about the animals studied.
• Tell stories about some of the animals studied.

Art:

• Have them paint the animal they liked the best out of all they saw.
  
• Make costumes to represent some of the animals studied. 

Body expression:

• Play imitation games, where the children have to guess which animal their classmate is acting out. 

Evaluation of learning obtained:Create a theatre production representing everything they have learned.

• Create four index cards for the animals studied on which the students have to put the parts of their bodies, what body covering they have, what they eat, what element they live in and how they move.
