Suggestions about activities to do after the Biodiversity Workshop at the Barcelona Zoo:

Natural sciences space:

Do a project on the biodiversity of ecosystems.
Classify different vertebrates into their corresponding classes.
Have the students prepare "conferences" about the consequences on biodiversity when invasive species are introduced (for example: red swamp crayfish, Florida turtle, mosquitofish, Caulerpa taxifolia, etc.) and present them to classmates.

Evaluation of learning obtained:

Describe a small real or imaginary ecosystem and list the main species that comprise it.
Formulate hypotheses about the effects exercised by the following alterations on the biodiversity of the previous ecosystem.
Introduce a contaminant that affects the base of the food chain.
Introduce an invasive species.
Make a species disappear from the ecosystem.
