Curriculum space

The Education Department at the Barcelona Zoo has a wide range of courses available for university students. These courses include general science courses and ornithology courses as well as intensive specialisation courses. All of them will provide students with a series of tools which will allow them to understand different aspects related to animal biology and animal conservation. In addition, the courses can be counted as free module courses at major Catalan universities.

The Barcelona Zoo reserves the right to modify or cancel the scheduled activities, unless there is a sufficient number of participants or if any incident occurs that justifies.

The main goals of these courses are:

To observe the animal behaviour in situ of different species at the Zoo.

To learn to conduct good research of information and to learn how to choose information well.
