The Zoo and other conservation projects
Barcelona Zoo collaborates in various European and international programmes for conservation of endangered species, including the EEP (European Endangered Species), European programmes for captive breeding. Its aim is to contribute to the reproduction and maintenance of endangered species.
Here you can see some of the conservation projects in which the Zoo participates actively:
- Project for conservation of the Komodo dragon on the Wae Wuul Reserve on the island of Flores (Indonesia)
- Project for conservation of the Philippine crocodile
