Green Office

Objective

Assist in the implementation of various measures to ensure that office spaces at the Zoo feature more sustainable environments.

Actions

In the context of this project, advances have been made in distribution and the proper use of personal eco-wastepaper baskets and containers for separated pape collection, the largest portion of which is generated by the Zoo’s offices. The project has also contributed to the distribution and proper use of trays for the reverse side use of paper. It has also assisted in the placement and use of packaging containers in office areas, and notepads have been made using used paper. It has helped in the placement of stickers / posters to promote two-sided photocopying, paper recycling, reducing waste of water to flush toilets and electricity savings.
