SOS: Indigenous fauna in danger of extinction
The secrets of the Zoo
Exotic animals like the gorilla, the tiger, the gazelle and many others are in danger of extinction. But many animals that live closer to us are also threatened.
Access: Department of Education. Passeig de Circumval·lació, 3
Schedule: 10:00 to 12:30
What do we do?
Throughout the morning, you’ll be led by our educators and you’ll discover what these animals who live so close to us are, why they’re vulnerable and what can we do to help protect them and their habitats. We’ll also explain what the Zoo is doing to contribute to the conservation of Catalonia’s own fauna. Come along to learn and work with us to protect nature!!
Everyone who takes part will receive an informative booklet about this morning of discovery, and the children will also be given a puzzle.
