This Friday, 22 November, we welcomed the Waste Working Group to Barcelona Zoo for the 13th session with members of More Sustainable Barcelona who had signed up for the #BeureSensePlastic (Drink Without Plastic) challenge.
 

The aim of this session was to share experiences, clear up doubts about how to take part in this initiative and recognise all the organisations that have already made a commitment to eliminate single-use plastic from drinks in their organisation, partially or totally.

Jordi Indiano, head of Barcelona Zoo’s Visitor Care Unit and speaker at the More Sustainable Barcelona session (#BeureSensePlastic), explained how Barcelona Zoo led the way in opting for reusable glasses over three years ago.
