CAMP : CHRISTMAS LUNCH 2

m

Grass, feed, meat, fish, insects, vegetables (zucchini, lettuce, celery, leeks, tomatoes ...), seasonal fruits (apples, pears, bananas, oranges ...) caram how many different types of food !. They are all kept in the warehouse, where the zookeepers and we go to order food for the different animals.

Of course, not everyone eats the same thing, there are herbivores like the elephant, giraffe, giant turtle or rhino, carnivores like lions, crocodiles, meerkats or storks and omnivores like chimpanzees and bears .

And everyone has their own sweets, what they really like !. Discovering them has been a lot of fun!

We have also been told that herbivores eat all day, carnivores and omnivores, no, they have their prey. All very well calculated and often enriched: hidden in wheels, boxes, buried or frozen, in summer. So some carnivores eat live animals, don’t be scared, only those that eat insects and some of those that eat fish.

We loved seeing where they keep the food of ALL the animals! All very neat and labeled and the fridges are hugeeeee! And some kitchens where the caretakers prepare each of the shots for the animals, all very clean and tidy!

What we liked most was being able to see so many animals up close while they ate what we had prepared for them!

And not only that it has also given us time to play freely and in the games that the Zoo educator has prepared for us, we have prepared the Christmas dinner for some great guests !!!
