PALMERA SCHOOL AND THE BIRDS OF PREY!

EDUCADORS

First graders have come to visit us to learn a lot about birds of prey and in particular eagles. They have been able to visit all the birds of prey we have in the Zoo accompanied by a Zoo educator who has told them where they live and how they detect prey, how some are able to make tools to break eggs or bones, how and where they make their nests. if males and females can be differentiated ...

They have also learned the dangers they have in their habitat, because they are in the Zoo and how we participate in captive breeding programs and reintroduction into their habitat, as is the case with the common vulture in Bulgaria. And they’ve seen how these eat, it’s been awesome to see how they use their beak and claws!

They have also done some dynamics to prepare the food and find the footprints under the gaze of the goats! .

And they have seen and touched different biological materials! Now they are all experts!
